1. Film Submission
Filmmakers submit completed projects during open submission windows. Eligible works include narrative shorts, documentaries, experimental films, and other short-form visual storytelling.
Submissions are accepted during published windows.
2. Curated Review
Each submission is reviewed by a panel of industry professionals, filmmakers, and creative executives. Films are evaluated on:
- Story & originality
- Craft & execution
- Voice & vision
- This is not a speed contest — it is a quality-driven selection process.
3. Official Selections
Selected films are designated as Official Selections of FilmFaster48 and are scheduled for:
- Festival screenings
- Curated showcases
- Industry viewing sessions
- Selected filmmakers receive official laurels and promotional assets.
4. Showcase & Exposure
Official Selections are featured across FilmFaster48 platforms, partner channels, and live or virtual events. Filmmakers gain visibility with industry professionals, press, and creative peers.
5. Awards & Opportunities
Top projects may receive awards, recognition, or invitations to participate in:
- Industry mentorship programs
- Distribution conversations
- Development opportunities
- Funded or credited production placements
- FilmFaster48 focuses on career acceleration, not just awards.
6. Ongoing Community
Selected filmmakers become part of the FilmFaster48 creative community, with access to future showcases, panels, and opportunities beyond a single event cycle.
